At IBS Golden Investment Company Limited(IBS) we provide Salary Loans, Business Loans, Assets Finance and Online Loans as such we treat Customer’s Personal Data as private and confidential.

Where our customer’s have consented to us providing them with promotional offers and marketing, they are free to withdraw their consent at any time.

Customers’ Rights

Our customers have the right to access any Personal Data that we process about them and to request information about:

• What personal data we hold about our customers

• The categories of personal data concerned
• The recipients of customer’s personal data or who it will be disclosed to
• How long IBS intend to store customer’s personal data for
• If we did not collect the data directly from customers, information about the source.

If our customers believe that we hold any incomplete or inaccurate data about them , they have the right to ask us to correct and/or complete the information and we will strive to correct it as quickly as possible; unless there is a valid reason for not doing so, at which point they will be notified.

Our customers also have the right to request erasure of their personal data or to restrict processing (where applicable) in accordance with the data protection laws; as well as to object to any direct marketing from us; to exercise their data portability rights, and to be informed about any automated decision-making we may use.

Transfers Outside Nigeria

Personal data in Nigeria is protected by the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) but some other countries may not necessarily have the same high standard of protection for their citizens personal data. IBS does not transfer or store any personal data outside Nigeria.

Duration of Customer’s Data

IBS only retains Personal Data for as long as is necessary by regulation and given its strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations. IBS is required under Nigerian laws to keep customer’s basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for not more than 7 years after termination of business relationship.

Where our customers have consented to us using their details for direct marketing, IBS will keep such data until they notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.

Sensitive Data

Owing to our Legal/Regulatory obligations, IBS sometimes needs to process sensitive Personal Data (known as sensitive data) about its customers, to [uniquely identify/distinguish them and sometimes for regulatory reasons].
